The badges could be fun at a small convention like Capclave, where people
generally want to socialize with other fans. I think they would short out at
a big con like a Worldcon. It would be a fun experiment, with each fan
footing the bill for his/her own electronic badge. I'd bee willing to pay
for one in the interest of "science."
