Don't forget 'Lawn Chair Larry', winner of a 1982 Honorable Mention in
the Darwin Awards competition.  Larry bought 45 weather balloons, tied 42
of them to his lawn chair, and attained an altitude of some 16,000 feet
over Los Angeles, to the consternation of air traffic controllers.  The
police were waiting when he eventually landed.
