Very few people will read it, >though sales will be good. If after two to three months after publication you see the book in B&N = with a 50% off sticker, then you'll know that the public didn't buy = anywhere near what B&N guessed. And the publisher really, really doesn't = want them back. This is a delightful industry practice known as "remainder= ing in place." And probably six months after the paper edition hits the stores the = hardcover will be returning as a $6.98 remainder. I could be wrong about = the price. mjw "Tom Clancy?" - - attributed to Ralph124C 41+ > >Respectfully, >Eric Jablow >"Another Munich we just can't afford/We're gonna send in the Eighty-Second= >Airborne!" -- Rolling Stones >
