LiveJournal is far from the same thing as a blog. Most authors of blogs are looking for a widespread readership -- as many hits as possible. Few LiveJournal authors could or would say that. Keith's sole problem is that he checks things out on the web and makes interesting cross-connections. For this he has been excoriated, the last time by someone who objected to his reading something about her on Rich Lynch's website! (Rich has dropped the "offending" material from his actively-maintained website, but an earlier, 'ghost' version remains up and accessable and unchanged.) There's all sorts of stuff out there on the www. People who object to their webwritings becoming known to their friends and associates are living in Nevernever Land. I say, live it or live with it. --Ted White
