This really strikes me as a gross over-reaction.  There is no "villainy"
here.  Keith has committed no crimes.  He passed on freely available
information.  Why this upsets you is a mystery to me.  You post on the
internet, people have access to it.  If you don't *want* people to have
access to your work, don't post it.  Send it privately.

"Outing"?  People were hiding embarrassing secrets about themselves, their
lifestyles, which Keith exposed?

What is the purpose of anonymity among friends and acquaintances?  (It's
rarely a good one.)

This strikes me as making mountains out of molehills.   Publishing to this
list is hardly a fandom-wide broadcast.  I'm left wondering what you people
are trying to hide from the rest of us and why your failure in this regard
is so upsetting to you.  (And, no, I haven't bothered tracking down the LJ
sites of anyone here.)   The more you protest, the more I wonder....
