Hi all,

The Gaithersburg Gazette (section 2 - Bookmarks) had a
short article today about local authors who write
mysteries. One of them was Donna Andrews. She also
writes a futuristic mystery series set in Washington,
D.C. featuring "Turing Hopper, a crime-solving
sentient artificial intelligence personality." I
found one of the books -You've got Murder - in the
library. The Gazette says she lives in Reston and the
book says she lives in Arlington.

Sounds like SF to me, but in the acknowledgments, one
of her friends assures her, "Of course, it's mystery
not science fiction." Sigh.
