The Collected Works
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer is amused/intrigued by the subject of
Fantagraphics amibitious program to publish an artist's 50-year oeuvre =
in
25 books, issued two a year. The artist is Charles M. Schulz. Director =
of
marketing Eric Reynolds says, "We're this punk rock publisher, but we
all melt like little girls when we read Charlie Brown." But the article
notes, "This past year was touch-and-go, fiscally speaking, for
Fantagraphics. In June, the company announced that it had raised the
$80,000 needed to stay afloat."
