Of course that's important, and cost was not mentioned in the main
article cited, but I did not check the entire list of references.  At
this early stage of development, the eventual cost can probably only be
guessed at.  One thought that occurred to me is that if water is being
pushed through nano channels, the water is going to have to be very clean
(free of suspended particles) otherwise the channels would clog up.
