I'd still ask, as that is polite. In MD libraries,
the SF/F is mixed in with fiction, while the mysteries
have their own section, so one would have to spend
quite a while sorting through to put book marks in.
We could always make bookmark size fliers specifically
for libraries - 1/3 of a regular sheet of paper.

I asked and placed fliers in three local libraries as
well as putting up a flier on their community bulletin
board.

Might I make a suggestion to whoever will be making
fliers in the future - please include our IRS status.
It can be in small type at the bottom of the flier. I
don't remember what it is off the top of my head when
asked and it could mean the difference between the
flier being posted or not.

I plan to put some fliers up on the local community
bulletin boards in groceries this week as well.
