Ok, we all know/expect RotK to not only to be on the final ballot, but to =
win and probably on the first count.

Let me suggest something to nominate in addition to RotK:

The National Theatre production of HIS DARK MATERIALS. In two parts, each =
part 3 hours long, this is a stunning production of Pullman's trilogy. =
National Theatre details here:
<http://www.nt-online.org/?lid=6158>

& how are the armored bears and the daemons done? Rather well . . see: =

Dalton as Lord Asriel, plus The Economist review: <http://www.timothydalton=
.com/his_dark_materials.htm>

BTW, even if the play travels, there is a part that just can't travel, =
from The Economist review:

"The seldom-seen subterranean monster - the revolving drum set deep into =
the Olivier stage - also comes into its own here. The drum turns as the =
players move on and off-stage, but it is in the centerpiece, rising and =
falling to reveal the myriad new worlds, that it really comes to life."
