Comparing 2002 attendees with 2003 non-attendees would be a good
technique for a presently hypothetical customer survey.

The serious answer is that there has been no serious examination of your =
questions. Atleast to my knowledge,
One thought would be to compare the 2002 & 2003 attendee list & contact =
the 2002 folks who didn't attend 2003 to ask them why.
