For those who have not yet joined, but were planning to, Noreascon 4:

_FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE_

We're pleased to announce that Noreascon 4 will _not_ increase its
membership rates on March 1, 2004 as originally planned. The cost for
a new attending membership will remain at $180 until the end of
pre-registration on July 31, 2004.

Supporting memberships in the convention are $35, and upgrades to
attending from supporting will continue at $145. Children's admissions
(not a voting membership) are $105; children in tow are free.

For more information about all memberships and children's admissions,
to purchase a membership online, or to download a membership form for

Anyone who is a member of Noreascon Four by January 31, 2004 may
nominate in the 2004 Hugo Awards and in the Retrospective Hugo Awards
for work done in 1953. Please see our web site at

favorite people and works.

(Now, if you decide that you want to send us more than the $180, just
earmark any extra for the "Chairman's Discretionary Practical Joke
Fund," and we'll make sure it's put to s/c/a/r/y/ good uses.)
