I had reported to Keith that N4.7 shows the yellow bg, but I had opined
that the yellow bg looks better than the white bg, and that considering
that most browsers would show the first png with a transparent bg, which
is even better, it would be acceptable to use the first png, just to be
done with the matter. Apparently it's only the older Netscape versions
which show the yellow bg. However, as I told Keith, my graphics
conversion software shows the first png with a yellow bg, which implies
that a yellow bg is the 'true' rendering for that file.

Of course a transparent bg would be best. I spent a half hour trying to
convert the file to a jpg with a transparent bg, and I was unable to do
so. Apparently my software will not select areas _by color_, nor does it
offer 'transparent' as a replacement color. I'm all in favor of making a
jpg with a transparent bg, but for me it's not worth spending more time
than I have already spent.
