There's one called Readerware that we've used to catalog our tech books and
our CD collection. Work will begin on the other books real soon now.

from PW Daily:

"Chronopath (http://www.chronopath.com/ ) has created a fast, easy-to-use
USB bar code scanner for cataloguing a personal library.
The $179 scanner comes bundled with Library software, which automatically
goes online and downloads title, author, price and related information.
Sadly, the software is only Mac compatible."

There may be others out there, I'll let someone else Google that . . .
