    I like the idea of holding onto our cash surplus for the support of
distinctively club activities such as the Journal, Capclave, insurance, and
so forth.  These ideas about supporting Clarion and so forth are nice but
charity begins at home.  If we find that we're still rolling in money once
Capclave is self supporting, we can do worthy deeds at that time.
