    Mike Walsh recounts the story of a work study student who had never
used a typewriter.  A couple of years ago, our computers were down for 2
days so I pulled out my yellow legal pad and drafted an entire document by
hand.  I gave it to our work study student and watched his eyes bug out as
he realized that It Did Not Exist In The Computer.
