For those who weren't able to make the WSFA meeting - or wisely arrived
after the election (the Trustee slate won for those who might be
concerned) the two announcements for the meeting that I mentioned in a
previous email are:

1. In hand, signed contracts for reprint rights to CITY and WAY
STATION by Clfiford Simak. Both have been OP for a number of years.
Fellow who does the book design work for me has been chained to his
computer, since we want to get these out for Worldcon this year. That
makes 5 books for Labor Day. Sheesh.

BTW, if anyone on this list hasn't read these two books you've missed
some classic stuff. WAY STATION is, I believe, one of two OP Hugo
winners.

2. Last year I published the Avram Davidson collection Limekiller.
Arriving Wednesday in the postal mail, this:

"Avram Davidson's 'Limekiller' stories, filled with high-intensity
language and a rainbow imagination, show him at his exotic best. If
this is a rediscovery, we hope for more like it." - - Lloyd Alexander

And a final note. The Groupwise on my computer has now been upgraded
to 6.5. I hope that this message still arrives sans equal signs.
