This is wrong. I remained a WSFAn after I moved to Baltimore in early
July, 1958. I married Sylvia in November and we continued to attend
meetings until the mid-summer of 1959, at which point we moved to NYC.
All the meetings we attended were on Sunday nights.

I don't remember Jack Chalker attending *any* of those meetings -- and they
were small enough that I'm sure I'd remember any new members. The only new
members I recall from 1958-59 were Joe Mayhew and Don Studebaker, who came
together. The first time I heard of Jack was after I'd moved to NYC, when
he published an attack on Mike Deckinger for his "unchristian" story in
YANDRO. Most people at that time dismissed Jack as a Christian fanatic.
