A few years ago I actually responded to a few of those African scam
e-mails for fun.  Did I respond as Chuck Divine, U.S. citizen or even
Ground Chuck, degenerate hasher?  No -- that wouldn't have been much
fun.  I responded as:

Chuck
Vulcan Senator
Ambassador Plenipotentiary to Earth
Federation of Sentient Planets

I also BCCed as Mensa SF list.  Several people told me they enjoyed my
responses.  Anyway, I've turned the e-mails into a web page with e-mail
addresses removed.  You can see it all at

Sam, Keith, feel free to publish this stuff whatever you want -- just as
long as you give me authorship credit.
