North American Agent for the First Japanese Worldcon Bid

Please join John & Peggy Rae Sapienza in welcoming Hiroaki & Tamie Inoue,
Masaharu Imaoka, and Kirk Masubuchi to the Balti-Wash area.

Five Japanese science fiction fans from the Nippon 2007 Worldcon Bid
Committee are coming to the United States to attend Midwestcon (June 24-27)
and Westercon (July 1-4).  Four of them will be staying with us in Silver
Spring between these two conventions.  Peggy Rae will be attending these two
conventions also.

We thought we would take this opportunity to introduce our friends in this
area to our friends from Japan, finally have a very long-awaited Open House
in our "new" home and celebrate Peggy Rae's sixtieth birthday (no presents,
please).

We'll provide hors d'oeuvres and a light dinner.  Several kinds of saki and
plum wine will be available for tasting. In addition, beer, wine and soda
will be available for those who prefer those drinks.

When:       Tuesday, June 29th  5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

>From Baltimore: Take the BW Parkway or Route 95 South to Route 32, go West
to Route 29, then go South to Randolph Road. Make a Right (west) onto
Randolph Road. Make a Left onto New Hampshire Avenue (Route 650). Make a
Right onto Shaw, make a Left onto Two Farm Road. At the stop sign, make a
Right onto Eldrid Drive (you'll be going west). Make a Left onto
Pentenville, then make a Left at the deadend.

>From the Beltway coming from the Prince George's County side: Take New
Hampshire Avenue North, pass Colesville Road (Route 29) and continue going
North. Make a Left at Shaw (the last light before Shaw is Venice) make a
Left onto Two Farm Road. At the stop sign, make a Right onto Eldrid Drive
(you'll be going west). Make a Left onto Pentenville, then make a Left at
the deadend.

>From the Beltway coming from the Montgomery County (or Virginia) side:
Take Route 29 (Colesville Road) going North.  At the New Hampshire Avenue
interchange, take the North exit.  Make a Left at Shaw (the last light
before Shaw is Venice) make a Left onto Two Farm Road. At the stop sign,
make a Right onto Eldrid Drive (you'll be going west). Make a Left onto
Pentenville, then make a Left at the deadend.
