Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at WSFA.org> One of the guests, Hiroaki Inoue, is the chair of the Nippon in '07 Worldcon bid committee. Peggy Rae's house is about two miles east of the Glenmont Metro station at the end of the Red Line. Head southeast on Glennallen Avenue, turn left (northeast) on Randolph Road, right on Springtree Drive, left on Springloch Road, right on Eldrid Place, left on Eldrid Drive, right on Pentenville Road, then left on Eldrid Court. Peggy Rae is at 12606. If you get lost, the phone number is (301) 622-1928. Most of the distance is on Randolph Road. Bikes are not allowed on Metro before 7 pm. If you don't want to walk that far, you can take the C8, Z2, or Z3 bus to the intersection of New Hampshire Avenue and Shaw Avenue, then follow Peggy Rae's directions from that point. Z2 and Z3 buses (alternating) leave the Silver Spring Metro station every fifteen minutes. I recommend taking the Z2 that leaves at 4:29 pm. Unfortunately, there's no return bus service (that I know of). But you can walk to the Glenmont Metro station, which remains open until 11:30 pm, which is long after the scheduled end of Peggy Rae's event. I don't know anything about the C8 bus except that it comes from the College Park Metro station on the Green line. You can also take the C7, C9, Z1, or Z4 Metrobus, or the #10 RideOn bus, which go east on Randolph Road from the Glenmont stations. I don't have schedules for these buses handy. They're online somwhere. Note that Metrobus and Metrorail fares are increasing this weekend. As always, fares are significantly lower if you board before 3 pm.
