Cat Meier and I are hosting 5th Friday tomorrow.

The important stuff:

4600 Duke St., #1032
Alexandria, VA 22304

4600 is a high rise in Alexandria VA. From 395, take the Duke St./Landmark
Mall exit. Go east on Duke St (towards Olde Town), approx 1 mile. 4600 is
the large high rise on the left, past Cameron Station and the park. Mango
Mike's is the resturaunt in the parking lot of the high rise.

From the Beltway- Exit at Van Dorn. Go North about 1 1/2 miles. Take Duke
St. East. This is a little tricky- Duke goes over Van Dorn, but if you
follow the signs you should be able to go on Duke to the east. Worst case,
you wind up at the mall and turn around.

Via Metro- Go to the King St. Metro. Take the 29K or N Metro Bus Westbound,
or the AT8 DASH bus. It's about 3 miles. Exit at the Foxchase Shopping
center. This is directly across the street from the building, and is the
stop just after "Duke & Jordan" streets, which tends to have a lot of
people. The almost last bus from the house to the metro is at
11:18. It's about a 15 min bus ride.

For those of you who like walking- technically we are about a mile or so
closer to the Van Dorn metro. However, the walk from Van Dorn is very dark,
and goes through several empty industrial areas. The walk from King St
metro is down Duke st, brightly lit and a good bit safer.

Now the fun part: Parking.

Prior to 10 pm, you are welcome to simply park in the 4600 Duke St.
Lot. If you plan on staying latter, please park in the Foxchase shopping
center lot across the street. I would suggest parking closer to the
resturants such as Zigs. And please make sure that there is not a "no
parking" sign in the lot, because they tow from some of the spaces by the bank.

The other fun part- Ben Brennaman park, next door to the building, is
hosting an open air movie night on the lawn Friday. Should people be
directing traffic, please just park where they direct you to.

Also, I haven't got much of a headcount. I'd love to get an idea of how
many people are coming.
