You know, those super canvass things with the orange handles that hold so many books? And the wonderful one of Cuthulu pulling the dome off of the Capital and pillaging whatever is inside? I'm not going to explore how the voting is handled since if I do I may have to write something. More importantly, I haven't looked at the others closely so I am constrained from making any suggestions. But even if the others are better at advertising product -- which I doubt -- the GoH with the addition of the conchair and Jerry Crutcher, who gave the leeway and made the decision needed close to deadline to allow this appear on our bookbags, deserve massive kudos. This was the perfect combination of convention, wise and witty GoH, topicality, amazing pen-and-ink work, and people to make it show up as it should. To Mike and Jerry for the process but above and beyond to Allen for the art. Mike, I don't have Allen or Jerry's email addresses but could you pass this along to them and to any others of the WFC 2003 crew who should know? And I think that our MARCO contact has changed but if Jerry can't get in touch with them let me know and I will. No matter who I've talked with as soon as WFC has been mentioned the first thing they say is how much they loved the artwork on our bookbags. They see a lot so that's appreciation both for the art itself and for the work that all have done to translate it to the appropriate medium. Elspeth
