Damn, how I agree with that comment.

Keith:
As regards using fancy quotes in the Journal and other places on the web, I
guess they are prettier.  But not enough to merit significant effort.  If
you use an HTML editing tool which will make those quotes for you when you
type the old fashioned kind, feel free.  but if you'll have to hand code
the clumsy HTML needed to make that happen, don't bother.  It's just not
worth the effort.
