As many of you know, Philadelphia fan David Axler went to
the hospital during worldcon on Monday afternoon complaining
of chest pain. After numerous tests, the doctors in Boston
found blocked arteries and David had a triple bypass operation
this morning. He is recovering well and is currently in the
cardiac ICU. He is probably going to be moved to a regular
room tomorrow or the next day. He will spend another 5 - 7
days in the hospital and then stay in Boston a bit longer
at a hotel near the hospital to begin recuperation.

The hospital has asked that no one contact them directly
at this point. I will post another update providing an
address when it is possible to contact him directly, or
to send cards and flowers.
