This was posted elsewhere by Shelby's daughter, Cheryl:

"First, thank you all for the many well wishes, prayers, candles lit,
energies sent, etc. He is now in a place called Healthsouth, Room 142. He
is there for therapy and rehab. He has a direct line to his room. He would
appreciate any and all calls. The number is 850-914-6031. Please let it
ring until you get an answer as it takes him awhile to get to it. He can
recieve calls from 12-8pm central time Saturday and Sunday. 12-1 M-F and
4-8pm M-F. He shares this line with a room mate so ask to be sure it is him
you have. His speach is somewhat slurred so he sounds like he is drugged or
just woke up when he talks. IF it is not a stroke he should regain full use
of his leg, his brain should be fine and his broken collar bone should heal
nicely. His lung may give him a few minor problems in the future, but
nothing to really worry about now. IF it is also a stroke I have plenty of
experience as how to help him with that. He does have a lap top computer,
donated by a friend. It does not have wireless internet on it. he had hoped
he woul be able to write letters, save them to disc and have me email them
for him. However, his fingers do not do as he tells them to so he is unable
to type, as of now."
