though I understand that the posted schedule is already out of date.

SFWA was apparently hoping to participate in some fashion, but has
apparently been shot down for this year.  Possibly they'd like to do some
form of joint social event.  Cathy Asaro has given me the name of a contact
who was involved in their LOC effort.  Does anyone have violent objections
to my pursuing a little SFWA/WSFA cooperation?  Seems to me it might be a
useful idea in general.
