I just finished baking a cheesecake. Its cooling on
the kitchen counter as I write this. I will bring it to
the next WSFA meeting so that you can all meet it. This
cheesecake will be named "George Bush".
Unfortunately I have to report that while very fine
ingredients have gone into George Bush, and while the
greatest of care was used in his creation, and while he
has a good lineage, coming from a well tested recipe in a
most respected magazine; George Bush is completely deeply
and unalterably cracked. George Bush started out as a
high cake of great promise, but as he aged he crumpled and
sagged and is now most undeniably cracked.
A good facade could be used to improve his image, but
even sour cream and raspberries will not alter the
underlying truth; George Bush is cracked.
