Keith, I'm sorry, this is partly my fault. There was a message from
Marilee to the Capclave 2004 Yahoo group which quoted your message to
RASFF, saying that she didn't know if you'd been at the WSFA meeting Friday
to tell us. I saw the message when I was doing a quick email pass while on
my way out of the house so didn't respond. By the time I'd gotten home
there was one from Lee saying that she was very sorry to hear it and would
pass it along, she having missed your announcement at the last meeting.

I should have responded as soon as I saw it, especially as I've been well
aware of your loss since you told us two weeks ago. I've probably done a
poor job of expressing my sympathy and support and couldn't, this past
Friday, find a way to tell Wade that I was glad to see him at meetings
again but I should have at least followed up on the message earlier. It
was a case of several people being well intentioned and caring but various
details slipping.

On top of the usual problems of Metro being under funded -- and that's such
a given that I'm *not* going to get into a discussion of it -- there was
something going on downtown this weekend that seems to have added further
delays.

Why don't we talk about this later? That's "we" as in all of us but I've
had to break down and take pain medication so I can sleep and you have a
full plate.

No offense given or taken, and thanks for getting the correction out so
quickly.
