That's actually better for me, since it's a Federal holiday, meaning that Metro won't be charging rush hour fares. Of course everyone should allow extra time if they're taking Metro, since trains run less often on holidays, and since Metro has had a lot of problems lately. (On Saturday, I was delayed by a total of over two hours due to breakdowns, delays, or construction on four different Metro lines. And I see on Metro's website that there was a broken weld this morning, causing yet more delays on the Red Line.) I have updated our calendar of upcoming events (http://www.wsfa.org/calendar.htm). Or should I tell people that if they haven't already expressed interest, not to bother showing up, as there are only enough passes for people who have expressed interest?
