It's not out of the question, it's just that if you kill him, you'll
have to do his jobs.  Do you really want to be stuck with the job
of con chair?  And with the job of selling tons and tons of books?
During Capclave Mike was heard to bemoan the fact that he chose to
sell books rather than feathers.  (Later in the con, I inexplicably
found a feather in my bag.  An intrusion from a parallel universe?)
And with the job of baking a cake for yourself, and for apologizing
for not having done so already?

Of course before you start those jobs, someone *else* would have to
bake you a cake -- one with a file in it.

(Note for the humor-impaired:  This message is not intended to be
taken seriously.  Murder and prison escape should be left to the
professionals.  Chairing cons should be left to the amateurs.
Baking cakes and selling books can be done by either.)
