IIRC, the traditional problem with venues in Virginia was Virginia's liquor laws. Disclave traditionally served beer in the con suite; Virginia's laws made this more than a bit dicey. I believe that Disclave was one of the last cons serving alcohol in the con suite, as a matter of fact (corrections are, I'm sure, forthcoming :-). As Caplclave has no intention of serving booze (to the best of my knowledge), having the con in Virginia shouldn't be a problem. The main thing we need is a regular date and a regular hotel. -- Steve Smith sgs at aginc.net Agincourt Computing http://www.aginc.net "Truth is stranger than fiction because fiction has to make sense."
