His 1989 Hugo winning memoir, The Motion of Light on Water: Sex and Science Fiction Writing in the East Village 1957-1965, was recently reissued in trade pb. Fascinating reading, though I must wonder what it's like for his daughter to be reading about her parents' sexual activities. He is graphic without be prurient. He must have had a good copy editor. mjw
