I arrived at 8:15. I had hoped to arrive earlier, but I wanted to
bring the November WSFA Journals there, and they weren't ready yet.

The only people there were Lee and Alexis. After an hour, when nobody
else had arrived, I left.

It's my fault for going to an election night party when I have no
interest in the election. I had wrongly thought that that was just a
party excuse -- that the TV would be on in the background, while the
real party went on elsewhere in the house. Sort of like on New Years
Eve, except that then there's no doubt as to what the result will be
(year++) or when (midnight).

Instead the TV was very much the foreground.

Election night has a very low bandwidth -- one bit in one night.
I'd rather watch paint dry.

I left a dozen WSFA Journals there. At least that means I'll have
less to carry there on Friday. See you then. Or perhaps earlier if
anyone else plans to go to the Mars Climate talk.
