I'm inviting everyone, but I would like them to email me for directions. Next Saturday, November 13, We are having a party. The intent is to see how many people we can get. We need to break the record from last January of 60/70 people. It's a big apartment. And this time? We are doing a head count. I promise food, drinks, chats and the like. Where: Casa Bombay, West End, Alexandria VA. When: November 13, 2004. 7:30 pm, till the last train runs. Me: But I hardly know you? That's ok. It's for anybody on LJ. On mailing lists. Or in the random DC fannish area. What do I bring? Drinks and Dessert. I'm doing a food spread. But you can never have to many interesting drinks, alcoholic and non. And nobody ever rejected desserts. Food I'm doing munchies. And more stuff. Options for the vegetarian, the vegan, and the just don't like dairy will be available. If anyone is keeping strict kosher- IE, I need to make sure I use a new knife on the raw veggies, please let me know, and I will do what I can. But I'm allergic to dogs I'm sorry. Tucker Bombay is a small mostly hairless dachsund. We don't have any cat's or anything else though. Your are warned. How do I get there: Via Car: Take 395 to "Duke St/Little River Turn Pike." Take the exit towards the Landmark Mall. It's a huge high rise just past Cameron Station. I'm still negotiating parking locations. Via Metro: Take the Blue or Yellow to King St. Metro. From there it's a $8 cab ride, or you can take the 29N, 29K, or AT8 buses. Ride to Duke&Jordan Street, the Foxchase shopping center. It's about oh, 3 miles. For those who wish to walk from the Metro. Yes, it's closer to Van Dorn. No, I won't give you directions. It's unlit and very confusing. If you want to walk, it's a very clear and pleasent straight shot from the King St. Metro Station down Duke St to the building. Well lit with sidewalks More detailed directions such as the apartment # will be sent via email. This is just a close approximation. RSVP Drop a comment.
