Balticon.
My own feeling is that the Balt-Wash does not need 2 Balticons.

Which is not to say I'm against the idea of, say, a 1000 person
Capclave.

Lance Oszko liquored up folks at the Baltimore 98 bid parties with
Captain Morgan's Rum.  Why that rum?  Pirate art was done by Don Maitz.

It's Orwell's fault.  The 1984 Worldcon in LA used rats as their logo.

Being fannish of sorts, they carried the theme forward to LAcon III
