I gave up trying not to conflict.

My original plan was to have it two weeks after I finished the bathroom,
but that would have been WSFA weekend, and a house full of people two
nights in a row was more than I could handle.  The weekend after that is
Thanksgiving weekend, and having a party that weekend is the kiss of
death.  The weekend after that is a birthday party for a friend of mine and
the NaNoWriMo Thank God It's Over Party.

Now I could have managed it that weekend, but the birthday party person was
problematic.  She couldn't make up her mind which day she was having her
party, and NaNoWriMo was being very cooperative, but when I had to ask Rise
to change NaNoWriMo for Sharon the second time, I just decided to take
myself out of the equation.

So I moved it to *Saturday* the 11th.  Then I used an old invite template
and proceeded to invite people for a date that didn't exist.  *sigh*  Can't
win for losing.
