I think her name was Bettyann -- after the Kris Neville story of that title
(and I may have misspelled it, but it was one word).  she had been born
only a month or two before I joined WSFA in 1954, and she was raised as a
member of the club, so it wouldn't surprise me if she was later a secretary
or officer in the club.

I recall her parents, both alcoholics, gave her beer to tipple on as an
infant.
