There is such an operation, but it isn't for heart problems.  What the
heck is going on?  For that matter, why are they meddling with Jack's
trachea?  Sounds like we aren't hearing the whole story.  Not that we have
a right to medical info Jack considers privileged, but it _is_ confusing.
