I see a lot of mention of off-mainstream software like Wordperfect, TeX, Pagemaker, etc... but what about the basic and very easy to use, Word? I realize many people consider Microsoft the Evil Empire... but face it, it works well and most people have it as part of MS Office. And if you don't care to support Billigatus of Borg, then there is always Open Office. I've actually setup a TV station in Florida with this as their default office product and even the rabid Microsofties found it easy to use and 98% compatible with Word, Excel, Access, etc. http://www.openoffice.org/ Just my two farthings worth...
