I have training in SGML, which is a lot like HTML on steroids and a bit
schizoid.  LC used it through the mid-90's for much of it's complex text
work that then got converted on the fly to HTML.  Now things are rapidly
going to XML which is then converted on the fly to HTML.  It's an LC kind
of thing to do.
