That all sounds right. I agree that funding a contribution for Jack from the
club makes sense.

Keith, could you follow up on an address and date for the flowers on the
other?

Um, heck if I know; at the moment I'm trying to finish things up here so I
can get out of NY before the snow gets worse up here or the streets freeze
down there. But I do think that for Jack it should come from WSFA
funds. I believe that by the time you joined he and Eva had stopped
attending meetings very often, but he'd been a member for a long time.

Is "Enough that neither the Chalkers nor SFWA feel that it's cheesy" a good
enough starting point for discussion?

Not pleading poverty, just distraction. Of course I'll chip in on that.

Bother, I just remembered: Ernest, how's that thing going to collect the
photos from the last Capclave and the 'people' ones from SMOFcon for a
slide show for the table at Boskone this weekend? (And yes, I remember
that 'caption' is *not* the word to use about putting the convention name
and date on them!) I've picked up some very good viewing software so that
Sam can use my laptop if he wants but also need the photos.

Um, I have high speed at the moment but see above. Still, the dial-up at
home isn't bad and I'll be in Boston by Thursday night, where I can pay for
DSL for a day to pick them up then if need be. Any of those work for you?

Elspeth, about to shut down the laptop, shove it into a case . . .
