Well, I was outside just before writing that -- can't smoke indoors in NY
-- and that was certainly snow drifting down on me.  While out there I
figured out a couple of things so made some phone calls to various places
in Maryland, all of which reported freezing rain.

Fortunately, or not, both turned into drizzle, rain, pounding rain, and
what a local (Maryland) TV news report called "dangerous fog".  All in all
it was a lovely drive.

I really do have to work on my timing . . .
