Danke, and very much so. I'd started to add 'it was nothing' but this one took a bit out of me; it's not just something we can get by on for now but something we can build on, establishing a baseline of the things that are simply a given. Such as a consuite where we can serve snacks and soda, 2,600 sq. ft., rated at 250 people for a reception. By comparison, the space we had for the consuite last time we were at the Hilton was 1,088 and rated for 80 people. It's not the old DisCave but . . . We have the appropriate clauses such that they can't apply service charges there, and with the agendums attached and initialed and the appropriate clauses they can't increase other costs more than the base rate plus a stated percentage for next year. And there's more. Not easy, but worth it. We have a solid home to build on, now all that needs to be done is for WSFA to do it -- and that we can. Bob has the info to give a financial statement soon, Sam's working on publicity, Mr. Nelson's done a flyer that I keep open to admire, Mr. Walsh and Colleen are bringing folks in, Walter is coming up with more ideas for programming and what we can do with our 'Town Square' of a consuite, Scott has been recruited to add his new ideas to Walter's, et cetera et cetera and things are brewing. And I just pulled up the website for Capclave 2005. I didn't get the text exactly right but . . . wow. And 'wow' even without the new background. Although I finally have the signed contracts on my desk I wasn't going to believe this phase was done until I saw it online. Now that I have there's a chance that I may stop waking up at night in a dead sweat. Elspeth
