Dear WSFA Website Watchers,

Like Sam, I'm just back from my travels, but for me it was a trip to Orlando
to cover a photo show...or I'd have been up at Boskone.

Right now, I think we're well served to do a few more tweaks to the current
format and then play with other thoughts in a development space. Granted, a
new logo would be good, though the old design is still fine. A new imaging
of it would be timely, as I'm sure the designer would agree.

By the way, is he credited on the page? If we do change it, I'd certainly
like his design preserved on the web with design credits for the folks who
came up with it.

Of the three files Keith posted, I actually like the floating text, and a
more subtle yellow than Gayle's submission. The color and tone I used are
roughly the same intensity as the original ones. Maybe if she lowered the
saturation a bit it would be fine. I'm still for using my revision for the
moment, and coming up with something NEW! and IMPROVED! over time.

Gayle and Elspeth are right about Keith's being pretty amazing as a
webmaster. It's not a job I'd want, excepting that I've got it on my own
pubs...but I'm sure you'll find fewer errors on the WSFA pages than on mine.

Elspeth's points are well taken, and I don't take offense at her description
of me. Just be glad you didn't know me before I mellowed out.

Ernest
