Reply-To: WSFA members <WSFAlist at WSFA.org> So I've seen all three variants on the rocket. I like the basic concept of the WSFA logo. Capitol building +rocket =Washington Science Fiction Association. The question I have- Is there anyway to do a redesign of the logo so it is basic black and white line work? The cross hatching on the rocket appears to be a texture remant of a much earlier era of computer design, and in a large way goes to creating the "outdated" look of the piece. I would love to see what would happen if using the basic logo elements, we created a new version. Or even if we ran this version through a couple of style filters in photoshop to smooth out the scratches and set in some pure colors. I'm even willing to put in a stab at it. Although at that point I may take all three elements and start from scratch A circle with the Capitol building rising to the full height and a rocket ship in better perspective perhaps? Heck we could make it a WSFA contest. Winner gets some early 1960's SF paperbacks from my house. Losers each get a copy of a Gor book from my house. Elizabeth
