Conceptually it works quite nicely. From a design point of view though it still has a few flaws to work out. First, the circle with "Washington Science Fiction Society" should probably go. It creates a large dead space in the middle of the logo. Second, the flames and tail fins need to be made smaller - they draw all of the focus to the bottom of the logo. If you decide that the Washingtom Monument is preferable to the Capitol Dome I'd be happy to take a shot at that one as well. The Hover Dome is very funny but unworkable as a logo. Too detailed to reproduce at varying sizes and (like the original logo) it suffers from contrasting styles. It IS funny as hell though. I was hoping to make it to the meeting tonight but I'm up to my ears in work down here in Richmond. I look forward to hearing what gets decided. -Mike On Mar 4, 2005, at 5:26 PM, Colleen Cahill wrote: > Wow! > We have a lot of graphic talent out there.
