I'm looking forward to some proposal's for a new logo too. Though I like the
slight tweaks to the current one. It's not lavender and the background has
been smoothed out so it no longer looks quite as rough.

Has everyone seen Gayle and Paul's Capclave design? That's the standard that
our new logo has to meet, though I expect it will be entirely different in
concept and execution.

Thanks to Keith for getting the color changes in across the site. I think
there's a lot of utility in his approach to web management, keeping the code
simple enough to keep track of.

And you'd be right. The changes to the logo are:
change to the color of the ring
smoothing of the colors in the rocket
moving the name of the club to not cover the rocket.

This logo is not expected to be the final WSFA logo. It's just
a temporary minor improvement until the club can have a logo-off
and pick a new one. By the way the one that Keith put up was
a group effort and back and forth of several of us.

I know I've saved the logo design possibilities that have been posted
here already. If others want to take a try at designing a new
WSFA log don't hold off just because we've got a temporary fix up.

There are a lot of very creative people in the club and I think were
bound to come up with something that gets a majority approval rating.

Personally, I'd like to see something really different from what we
have. Something more 21st century -- saying this is who we are and
this is what we hope to accomplish only with a visual logo and the
club name.
