It just occurred to me that while I don't have a way to contact Dan anymore
except through his parents you may have tracked one down. Certainly, if
your understanding is based upon having checked with him and he's against
our continuing to use it we absolutely shouldn't.

The one that I like best is Michael Pederson's B&W version, available at
http://home.comcast.net/~ecfield/myspace.html. People can play around
with the font and I'd like to see it with a less stylized rocket, perhaps
akin to the one currently used or the Hugo shape, but it's great. My vote
is that we settle on this as the image to be tweaked rather than continuing
to come up with other designs. And while it does use the same components
as the one that Dan first did I believe that it's sufficiently different
that he can't reasonably object.

(While I understand the interest in using the Washington Monument instead
of the Dome truth to tell, it winds up looking like a badly designed rocket.)

The only further change I'd suggest is to put Capclave 2005 into the
"What's New" section. Yeah, people could go down to the Future Capclaves
link but let's make things easy for them. And could you link the Capclave
email addresses for the committee folks? Again, let's make things easy for
people.
