As if working at the White House didn't hold terrors enough...it's bad
enough when you laugh at the wrong part of Louie the Lounge Comic's routine...or
miss the punchline entirely...and he's a professional!

Some Presidents would probably be better at it than others.  I know  Ford
loved Chevy Chase's gags, and Nixon could do a killer Rich Little  impression,
but I'd probably gnaw my own leg off before I'd go see the incumbent  at the
mike.
